Linkin Park= Awesome

So far, as you can see, I have been posting music, like, non-stop. But I can't help it! I am a total music junkie :P. So I have another ban for you thats actually well-known and has some seriously awesome music (I always have some awesome music for ya). This band is called Linkin Park and they are a sort-of rock band with a mix of rap and what I like to call 'rustic' tones to their music.
There is a couple links to acouple of my personal favorites. The first one is I'll Be Gone. Seriously this song is sooo cool. I can't even explain it really. The second one is called Castle of Glass. This song is one of those that you can not simply listen to. There is sooo much imagery in this song and you mind really wanders to a mystical world (You'll get it when you listen to it). The last one is called Roads Untraveled. Its a sad song and it makes you think about your life (weird, right?). Its describes how you should live your life and let mistakes be mistakes and get over them before you sink.

Jamie "The story the Whole World Need to Hear"

So this kinda came up, like, a REALLY long time ago back when I was in Cross Country (This year) and I heard this amazing Story about a girl named Jamie Peterson. "This is the story the whole world needs to hear" It really is. I remember my coach telling this story during our team meeting and I swear everyone teared up. How could you not though? Anyway I should probably tell you the story so you get what I am talking about.
Jamie was not like many kids. She had a crazy love of running and she also had cancer. She got it when she was in high school and was so weak she couldn't pursue her dream in running in cross country. So, like the up beat person she was, she became the manager. She even participated in some practices on her good days. But her body would only let her do so much. Her one goal was to run one mile. Just one mile. Something we all could so easily do, but was such a struggle for her. She worked her butt off until she couldn't even walk anymore. At one of their last meets she decided that she was going to compete. She was going to make it to that one mile. No matter what. Our two coaches ran with her along with her family. She was moving like a slug so one of the coaches from the other team asked ours who this girl with a bandana on her head was. So he told him her story, he teared up and said "this is the story the whole world needs to hear." She was only a few yards away from the one mile. She was so close. Her body slowly giving out on her. Screaming for her to stop. But our coaches pushed her forward. She gave it her all. Even sped up. She gave her best kick... she made it. She finally achieved her goal of running a whole mile without stopping. She died a few years later after that. But she still lives on in all of our hearts. We (the team) don''t even know her yet we all felt a personal connection to this person. We had a meet dedicated to her (We have one every year). We placed flowers at the one mile mark. I remember running this course. I felt like I was going to die at the big hill. I wanted to slow down, but then I saw that one mile marker.
She continues to inspire me. Continues to inspire all of us. I just wanted you to hear this because this really is a story the world needs to hear. Maybe the whole world won't hear it but thats okay. Because for those who do get to hear it will pass it on (at least I hope they do).

So this video is, like, epic (At least for people who like basketball)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1MgetaTjxw

So I thought this was a funny vide because even though Kobe played a terrible game this player (who's team lost against us, HAHA!) asked Kobe to sign his shoe. Just they way he did it was kind of funny because you can see him mouth out ,"right now?" Watch the video and you'll get it.

Dr. Oz's Confusing Healthy Foods

So I watched Dr. Oz for, like, the first time today (I am not an Oprah freak don't worry!). Any-who I was watching this thing on whats heathy and whats not and it was like a survey thing and of course I got ALL of them wrong (which REALLY annoyed me!). It really surprising what foods are healthy or, I guess, 'Healthy'. So, okay got off topic, I was watching this and dunkin  came up with its glazed doughnut (YUM!) and its low-fat multi-grain bagel (ZZZZZ). They asked which one was more heathy so everyone said bagel. WRONG! The doughnut has half the calories and fat as the bagel. Wow. So when my coach tells us to eat healthy I'll make sure to be smart and pick up a nutritious doughnut. OH! And another one was fries and tater tots and they said tater tots... yea, I don't care HOW heathy they are I will always eat fries before tater tots :P. Also did you know ice cream is more healthy for you than yogert? Yup! At least at McDonalds. OH! And next time you go to McDonalds get the burger and not the salad (Less empty calories). Weird right? :P So like any teenager I ended up getting board after while and changed the channel (Mostly out of frustration). Well.. thats all! Till next time!
